Note 1: Adobe Bridge comes free with the Adobe Creative Suite CS2, Adobe Production Studio and Photoshop Elements 4 for Mac OS X. Adobe Bridge cannot be purchased separately, but Photoshop Elements are available from Adobe for $70 and Photoshop is available for $400.
Note 2: The latest version of iPhoto comes free with a Mac. iPhoto cannot be purchased separately, but is part of the iLife-suite which is available from Apple Computer for $79.

The filetypes that can be displayed by GQView and Kuickshow depend on the image-processing libraries (libjpeg, libpng, etc.) installed on the operating system.;

PicaJet has the ability to save categories, categories structure and description directly to the files (IPTC/XMP). Supports for dcRAW library, so supports almost all the Camera RAW formats.;

SView5 exists as full-featured tool for AmigaOS/MorphOS and there is a limited (developers) toolkit for Linux/Windows. If you want to run it under Windows the way to go is using an Amiga emulator like WinUAE/AmigaForever/AmiKit.;
MangaMeeya development has been discontinued; the last release (English) is 2.4Beta. There are a few bugs in the program (beta), but most people are unlikely to ever encounter them.;
